Clean My Bedroom

How To Clean My Bedroom

Start your morning chores by making the beds, picking up the dirty clothes, and generally straighten up the home. It is good enough to get you through until the next serious cleaning attack on your bedrooms – the kind of cleaning spree you have to split into days. It is so much work, but one extra advantage is that can burn off a weeks worth of calories. Change the way of cleaning from twice a year to cleaning to 15 minutes a day.

Cleaning

Create a schedule and make time for 15 minutes a day for the bedrooms. If you have more than one room, allocate 30 minutes for cleaning. Make bedroom cleaning a part of your daily cleaning routine.  Start in your bedroom and work around the room. Make the bed, fluff the pillows, and straighten the sheets. It is nice to end the day in a nicely made bed.

Pick up everything lying on the floor. Put shoes and clothes were they belong. Do not keep a dirty clothes hamper in your bedroom as it only creates clutter. Make sure no extra items or clutter is sitting on the dressers or the tables – put up everything. Use a feather duster to knock down the dust as you go along. Make sure to dust pictures, corners, and windowsills. When you have swept through all the rooms, you will have a pile of clothes in the hallway. Step over it and get the vacuum.

Proper Scheduling

You might be thinking that it’s impossible to do all of this cleaning in just 15 or 30 minutes a day, however, with proper scheduling, it is possible. Schedule each bedroom for a day in the same way. Decide a day for more serious cleaning of the room. Clean the closets and reorganize the clothes; plan a schedule for these things also.

Work on this project for one week; do not get sidetracked, stick to your plan. If you are cleaning out from under the bed and run across another project, add it to your list for another day. After about two months of using this method, you will be amazed at how organized you bedroom becomes and how quickly you can keep it clean.
