Housework is a necessary, and unfortunately is an unavoidable evil. We all dream at one point or another about how nice it would be to be able to afford to get someone else to do it for us. Or we try bribing our children into helping out a little, but the fact remains the same – we are the only ones who will eventually complete work. However, there are certain ways where, though you cannot elude the housework completely, but can make it easier. One such way is to break the big jobs into small tasks.
How it Helps
There are different types of house work. Tasks including: cleaning, cooking, laundry, dusting, and vacuuming. The worst part of all of these jobs is that they have to be done on a regular basis, and if it isn’t done regularly, then it gets piled up and it creates more problems. Therefore it is better that daily chores are divided into small parts.
We can divide the big jobs such as laundry, cleaning and cooking into small part according to time. Cooking can be divided into three parts and complete the job of cooking in three different time periods. These different time periods are morning, afternoon and evening. Families normally eat three meals a day, so by dividing the work of cooking in these three time periods, the job of cooking can be easily completed.
Regarding laundry, the work can be divided into two parts: morning and evening. Wash al the clothes that are needed for tomorrow in the morning and wash all clothes that are used two or three times a week in the evening.
Regarding cleaning, which is the biggest job of all the jobs, a time table should be developed as to when to clean any particular room. Also, divide this work amongst the members of the family.
Work Wisely
It is better to divide house work because it saves time, and makes house work and chores much easier to tackle.
